I was hoping they would come close enough to be able to attend a show, and low and behold they added a show in Columbus at the very end of the tour! Even better, its happening on December 2nd, which is a regular day off for me. I am so there!
Tickets go on sale this Wednesday for AMEX card holders (almost makes me want to get one just to buy tix early) and then on Saturday 10/3 for the general public. If anybody in the Ashland area wants to carpool and buy tix together, let me know this week.

Can you order tickets early? I want to go with Loretta. We'll be staying the weekend most likely. I'd rather sit with the rest of you going, but I wouldn't mind doing floor seats.

I have a feeling that this will be coming even closer to Louisville
Maybe, Indy, Nashville, Lexington, Cincy, or Louisville itself!

I have heard it's coming to Chicago.
Not real close, but five or so hours away. Still, almost like the distance to Columbus.

I bought my tickets to the Columbus concert today. I had a real brain-fart over the weekend- I was right there in Columbus at the Mid-Ohio Con which was a block away from the Nationwide Arena, and it didn't even dawn on me to buy my tickets at their box office and save the Ticketmaster fee. Anyway, they almost priced themselves out of a sale. All of the lower arena seats were $75, the upper area section straight back were $55, and the upper sides were $35. I wanted the cheap tickets, but with it being an orchestral concert combined with projection and lighting, I just didn't think a side view would be any good. Especially in a venue not designed for acoustics. So I went for the $55 upper arena seats. An early Christmas gift I guess. My wife and son are coming with me. It should be a lot of fun.

December 12th in Indy. That's a Saturday, which would work best for me, plus it's pretty darn close - Conseco Field House, which is pretty much where Celebration II and III took place!
Tickets go on sale on Oct. 16th if anybody is interested!

I'll be in for Cincy. Fridays are my short days so I'll have plenty of time to get there. Also, my wife's family lives in the area so we'll have some baby-sitters, and have a place to stay for the night.
Anyone have an AE card where I can give you cash for the tickets? I put a shout out to OSWCC to see if I could get tickets there too.
