I'm a little late in getting this started, but better late than never...

I think the movie poster request thread went over pretty good last year so here is the 2012 version. As you know I usually donate several authentic theatrical 1-sheet posters each year for our fundraiser auction. I am going to use this thread to let you, the membership, tell me what you would like to bid on come auction time. I can get my hands on pretty much any poster for movies currently in release or set to be released this Summer and Fall. So all you have to do is ask and I will let you know if or when I can procure one. If you want an "Ice Age 3" poster for the kids, let me know. If you want a "Titanic" poster for the wife, let me know. If you want a "Spider-Man" poster for yourself, let me know. Chances are, if its from a major studio or is going to be a wide release film, I will have a poster for it sooner or later. A good source for researching movie posters is www.impawards.com

Here are the groundrules-

Please no duplicate requests. Once a person requests a certain poster on the thread and I acknowledge that I have one, that's probably the only one I will have. Its up to you to outbid the other interested parties. So read the whole thread first before you make your request. If I can get more than one copy I will be sure to let everyone know a second copy is available for request.

In order to make this program worthwhile, if you request a poster, you are agreeing to make a minimum bid of $5.00 on that poster come auction time. Keep in mind, however, that this minumum bid doesn't guarantee you will win the poster. Someone else can still outbid you.

Please be descriptive in your request. Many movies have several different versions of posters released. Versions without credits on them are often refered to as teasers. Versions with credits are usually final copies. Some versions have solo characters on them while others have whole casts. If you request a poster that I can't get my hands on, I will let you know if an alternate version is available and ask if it will suffice.

Thats all for now. If I think of anything else I will add it later or if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

How many Jedi does it take to change a light bulb? None. They would have to go over to the dark side to do it.

ParaNorman

Nurse 3D
I am not posting the link to this one cause the poster not family friendly.

Mother's Day
http://www.impawards.com/2011/mothers_day.html (I know this one says 2011. But the movie actually has 2012 release)

Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D
I doubt you can get this one but just in case I am listing it. No link on that site.

If I think of anymore I will add them.

Dwayne, I make a claim to Expendables 2--especially if it is the teaser one with just Chuck Norris.

Already mentioned it to you in person Dwayne, but there was always that possibility I wasn't going to be around for the auction. Now it seem's it will be taking place while I'm in town. Awesome.

So ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING From G.I. Joe.

I'd bid on some Avengers to. Don't really care which ones.
