Attention paid kswcc members and e-members.

Question on the bit about buying 3 C3-PO's and keeping 2 for his board, I have a board and sometimes buy 2 or 3 of the same clone trooper because I need more than one but I try to find the ones in bad packaging is this still bad form for collectors. I have one full set of figures it the saga collection which all the extras I got I gave some to my step son or donated to homeless for the hoiladays in Lexington,Ky I try not to hoard on figures because I know there are others out there that want one or two in some case's.. I just want to know if how I am building my board is in the wrong way( I dont take all the clones all at once, but if I find there are more than six then I may take up to three at a time..) ...thanks

one more thing is there anyone out there with vintage AT-AT parts I need a side door and cockpit cover and all guns for both sides and chin gun parts, thanks

It's been a while since the dust was blown off of this thread! smile.gif
What you are doing is fine. There really hasn't been a problem in this area for a while.

Sorry that I can't personally help you with the AT-AT parts. Sometimes you can find what you need at The Earth Toy Mall online. Check them out HERE!!

Very good reminder. Too bad it's been very slow these first six months. Hello, Hasbro, where are you?

Speaking of scalpers sucking. I had some jerk come in my store today. Started bragging about some of his ebay auctions then turned around and complained about the cost of a basic figures at walmart and how he can't make that much off them like he use to. I wanted to say get a job. But I didn't

We saw a guy wearing an OSWCC t-shirt scalping the VC Tarkin wave at the Columbus Toy Show week before last. He was asking $45.00 each for them! Talk about giving collectors clubs a bad name.

I also ran into a dealer at the Huntington WV Tri-Con earlier this month who had TWO VC Shae Vislas and wanted $45.00 each for them. When I offered him $22.50 for one he smirked at me and said the lowest he could go was $40.00. I pointed out that my offer was still double the retail cost was for them and even if he sold me one for less he would still have another one. He said "but they have been selling on ebay for $45.00 since last year". Duh, why does he think I don't own one already? Stupid Scalpers!!!!!

How many Jedi does it take to change a light bulb? None. They would have to go over to the dark side to do it.

Both of those stories suck, but you know who's to blame? Hasbro. It's supply and demand. Figures aren't being widely released as they were five years ago, and people are going to extremes to get the ones they want.

I'm curious to see what some of the prices will be at C6.

Well the trick there is just preorder the Wave 5 case- it has a Starkiller, Vizla, Tarkin, Wedge and Malgus in it-- (at scalper prices that case pays for itself)
